April 12 Divine Mercy Sunday
The Octave Day of Easter, known as Divine Mercy Sunday, is a celebration of God’s boundless and merciful love poured out through the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus.
This special day was established by St. John Paul II in 2000, during the canonization of St. Faustina Kowalska. In her diary, St. Faustina shared powerful encounters with Jesus, who urged the Church to trust in His mercy and spread devotion to it throughout the world.
Let us come together next Sunday to reflect on the depth of God's mercy and to give thanks for the grace that flows from Christ’s victory over sin and death.
